Saying goodbye to someone I love because the idea of life continuing on without them simply doesn’t seem possible. But knowing, too, that life continues on regardless of the personal losses that we endure.
It may sound trite to say that it’s best to appreciate each moment we have with those we love. Life isn’t a Hallmark card, and there are misunderstandings and frustrations in most relationships. Make the time with your loved ones count, and if you can be with them and say goodbye, it’s a moment that may give you strength and comfort when they are no longer with you.
This is a sombre note to my final Bloganuary post. It’s been uplifting to read other posts about fears ranging from career changes to relationships, spiders to singing as sources of scary inspiration.
Thank you to the organisers of Bloganuary for a range of interesting prompts over the month. This encourages bloggers to maintain the habit of daily writing. It’s been good to come across some wonderful blog posts and great writers, and to add a few extra blogs to my reading list. And a big thank you to everyone who took the time to read my posts, and provide comments. It’s very much appreciated.
I’m participating in this blogging challenge for the month of January, which supports starting the year on the “write” track. You can find other posts with #bloganuary and join in the challenge.
