I am a scribbler living in the Blue Mountains, Australia. I’ve lived here since 2013 and am incredibly fortunate to call this place my home.
Writing is my enduring obsession. I write short stories and am currently working on a novel with a working title of ‘Broken Boundaries’.
I’ve written serial fiction and participated in rolling fiction for a regional weekend newspaper and a creative writing magazine.
In this blog I’ll be sharing some of the moments that make mountain life so special, as well as some musings on books, music, other blogs, as well as podcasts that take my fancy.
When I’m not working or writing, I’m usually reading, gardening, daydreaming, listening to music and walking my cheeky cattle dog.
All of the photos are my own.
You can find me on Twitter @JML297 and on Instagram at JML297.

You live in the Blue Mountains and I live near the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Upstate region of South Carolina. It’s beautiful here as I’m sure it is beautiful where you live. Best of luck!

Hello my mother attended the Mt St Mary’s school in 1927 and was wondering if there students listed or photos to from that era.

Hi Denielle, thanks for your comment.
I’m not sure where you would be able to find further information or photos, but the Blue Mountains Library has a Local Studies section which may have some information, or the Blue Mountains Historical Society may have some resources. There is a photo of the school on the State Library of NSW website with some unidentified students out the front; this is part of their digital collection.
Good luck with your search.
